Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates will work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads in physically demanding conditions
- The candidates will perform repetitive tasks and engage in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates will require bending, crouching, and kneeling and stand for extended periods under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be punctual, should be focused on clients, should be dependable
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills, should have excellent oral communication, should be flexible
- The candidate should show initiative, should exercise judgment, should be organized
- The candidate should be reliable, should work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care and administer medications
- The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene and assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
- The candidates should be able to feed or assist in feeding and launder clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship and provide personal care
- The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies and prepare and serve nutritious meals
