Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials: CPR Certificate And First Aid Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, sit, stand, and walk, and lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual, dependable, and have efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should be organized and reliable
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to care for pets, administer bedside and personal care, and administer medications
- The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, and change non-sterile dressings
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship, provide personal care, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
