Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

The candidates should be punctual, focus on clients, and be dependable
The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and be flexible
The candidates should demonstrate initiative, exercise good judgment, and be organized
The candidates should be reliable, a team player, patient, and honest

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, administer medications, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, and assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking
The candidates should be able to feed or assist in feeding, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
The candidates should be able to provide companionship, personal care, shop for food and household supplies, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
The candidates should be able to cook

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
