Salary: $20.00 to $23.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: Maple Ridge, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning
Supervision: More than 20 people
Type of crops: Blueberries

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
• The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should exhibit excellent oral communication, exhibit excellent written communication, and be organized
• The candidate should be a team player

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers, ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, and maintain quality control and production records
• The candidates should be able to maintain work records and logs and hire and train staff

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
