Work setting: Rural area, remote location, relocation costs covered by employer

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, however experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be experienced in oilseed (except soybean) farming knowledgeable in other grain farming
• The candidates should be skilled in other miscellaneous crop farming and proficient in wheat farming
• The candidates should be prepared to work in dusty condition
• The candidate should do repetitive tasks and physically demanding and attention to details and should handle heavy loads

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be a team player

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to apply hoeing techniques between rows, clean crops, and perform weeding tasks
• The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, fertilize and spray crops, and detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
• The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting
