Salary: $20.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have the ability to work independently, handle physically demanding tasks, and stand for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for extended periods

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, strong values and ethics, and excellent oral communication
• The candidates should demonstrate efficiency in their work

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to harvest seedlings, pick row and orchard crops, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and perform seed cutting
• The candidates should be able to weed, clean work areas, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
• The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry, as well as operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties, mix and prepare soils, cut weeds and undergrowth, and check products for quality control
