Type of crops: Apples, Cherries, Cucumbers, Raspberries, Strawberries and Tomatoes
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, adapting to varying weather conditions including hot temperatures
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be team players, collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve shared objectives and foster a positive work environment
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bud trees, clean crops, and clip plants
- The candidates should be able to deleaf, clean greenhouses, and hand harvest vegetables
- The candidates should be able to hoe crops, maintain vine growth, and mix fertilizers
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, pick stones and wood
- The candidates should be able to cull vegetables, operate vertical farming systems, and weed fields
- The candidates should be able to fertilize, spray crops, and harvest produce
