Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Staff accommodation available, rural area
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to tolerate odors, work comfortably in dusty conditions, and handle working in hot environments
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy conditions
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling repetitive tasks, and working under pressure
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and physically demanding tasks, with good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel comfortably, and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should also be able to walk for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean crops, perform weeding, and clean the work area
- The candidates should be able to fertilize, spray crops, sort, and pack fruits and vegetables
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry
- The candidates should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry, and examine products for quality and market readiness
