PT Farm Market Ltd. provides approximately 72 varieties of farm-fresh fruit to consumers in the Okanagan Valley. Our dedicated team of skilled farmers, agronomists, and experts work tirelessly to cultivate a wide range of high-quality fruits, vegetables, grains, and livestock. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The position of farm worker, fruit is approved by LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment).

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Type of crops: Orchard fruit, Apples, Cherries, Grapes, Vineyard
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to do viticulture, and fruit and vegetable combination farming
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to distinguish between colours
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, and large workload
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
- The candidates should be able to work at heights, in wet/damp area, noisy area, outdoors, hot area, dusty area, and cold/refrigerated area
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean crop, deleaf, fruit trees training, hoeing crops, grading
- The candidates should be able to maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes, plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, soil fertility programs
- The candidates should be able to do stone and/or wood picking, tying, weeding
- The candidates should be able to fertilize and spray crops, harvest crops, load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare for market
- The candidates should be able to sort and pack fruits and vegetables, pick row and orchard crops
