Salary: $19.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have experience in other miscellaneous crop farming
• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in environments with odours, dust, and hot conditions
• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling repetitive tasks that are physically demanding
• The candidates should have a strong attention to detail and possess hand-eye coordination
• The candidates should have the ability to distinguish between colours
• The candidates should be comfortable sitting, standing for extended periods, and walking
• The candidates should demonstrate manual dexterity

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be flexibility, judgement, organized, and reliability
• The candidates should be effective team players

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to clean crops, clip crops, grade crops, hoe crops, mix fertilizer, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and weed crops
• The candidates should be able to fertilize and spray crops, harvest crops, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• The candidates should be able to set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
