Salary: $16.71 hourly for 40 to 80 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset 
Equipment and machinery experience: Tractor, Planting equipment, and Vegetable harvester

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and be capable of working with other vegetables and melon farming (except potato)
• The candidates should be willing to work at heights and able to work in confined spaces
• The candidates should be able to work in dusty conditions, hot environments, and in noisy surroundings
• The candidates should be tolerant of various odors and able to work in wet or damp conditions
• The candidates should be able to work in cold or refrigerated environments
• The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be capable of working under pressure, adept at meeting tight deadlines, and prepared for physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks effectively, possess attention to detail, and be capable of handling heavy loads
• The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and have good hand-eye coordination
•  The candidates, who should also have the ability to distinguish between colors and possess sound discrimination skills
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, be comfortable with walking, and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be organized, effective team players, and possess efficient interpersonal skills

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to hand harvest vegetables carefully and hoe crops efficiently
• The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops effectively, as well as pick stones and/or wood as needed
• The candidates should be able to harvest crops promptly and examine produce for quality, preparing it for the market diligently
