Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to perform hand harvesting of vegetables and participate in harvesting seedlings
  • The candidates should be able to maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes
  • The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • The candidates should be able to clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
  • The candidates should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
  • The candidates should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare it for the market
  • The candidates should be able to set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
  • The candidates should be able to maintain quality control and production records
  • The candidates should be able to maintain financial and production records
  • The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers
  • The candidates should be able to provide agricultural livestock services such as artificial insemination, spraying, or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns, or poultry houses
  • The candidates should be able to provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting
  • The candidates should be able to assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
  • The candidates should be able to supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
  • The candidates should be able to supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
  • The candidates should be able to ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
