Type of crops: Apples, Asparagus, Bell peppers, Blueberries, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflowers, Cherries, Cucumbers, Garlic, Ginger, Melons, Onions, Raspberries, Soybeans, Strawberries, Sweet corn, and Tomatoes

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
• The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks and stand for extended periods
• The candidates should have good hand-eye coordination and be able to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, have good judgement, and be organized
• The candidates should be a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to clean the crops, hand-harvest vegetables, and harvest crops
• The candidates should be able to grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to fetch a high price in the market, and examine products for quality and their readiness for the market
• The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
