Salary: $630 to $900 weekly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Cookshire-Eaton, QC
Transportation information: Public transportation is not available

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work independently, and maintain attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, walk ,and kneel as needed

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work as a team player
  • The candidates should be reliability and flexibility

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to disinfect pens, barns, or poultry houses and handle animals, and monitor animal health and organize tasks to accomplish the work
  • The candidates should be able to perform livestock feeding, pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering medication, identifying piglets, and castration
  • The candidates should be able to treat livestock health issues and wean animals and feed and tend to animals and ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
  • The candidates should be able to maintain livestock performance records, clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens, and perform general farm duties
  • The candidates should be able to set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
