Salary: $19.00 hourly for 25 to 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Abbotsford, BC
Shifts: Day, Flexible Hours

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to work independently and be able to work under pressure
  • The candidates should be capable of managing physically demanding tasks and be attentive to detail
  • The candidates should be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The candidates should be organized in their work processes and be a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas and handle animals
  • The candidates should be able to monitor animal health, perform livestock feeding, and feed and tend animals
  • The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, maintain livestock performance records, and maintain work records and logs
  • The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties and write daily basic progress reports
