Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exercise good judgment
- The candidates should be organized
- The candidates should function effectively as team players
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform greenhouse cleaning and harvest seedlings
- The candidates should be able to mix fertilizer and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to operate a vertical farming system and perform weeding
- The candidates should be able to clean the work area and fertilize and spray crops
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
