Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in fruit and vegetable combination farming, be able to work at heights, and work in hot environments
- The candidates should have the ability to distinguish between colours and have strong attention to detail
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, color, and volume to fetch high prices in the market and cut horticultural crops
- The candidates should be able to perform greenhouse cleaning tasks, clean work areas, and hand-harvest vegetables
- The candidates should be able to manually remove all suckers and water sprouts from plants, and tie and secure plants
