Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be accustomed to repetitive tasks
The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
The candidates should have attention to detail
The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to perform corrective machine adjustments, clean machines and immediate work areas, and perform scheduled maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
The candidates should also be capable of feeding and unloading processing machines, ensuring that safety standards and departmental policies are met, and checking and monitoring product quality
The candidates should work with minimal supervision and ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
