Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be accustomed to repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should have attention to detail
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform corrective machine adjustments, clean machines and immediate work areas, and perform scheduled maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
- The candidates should also be capable of feeding and unloading processing machines, ensuring that safety standards and departmental policies are met, and checking and monitoring product quality
- The candidates should work with minimal supervision and ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
