Salary: $15.75 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract (ending: 2024-11-30) Full time
Location: 1895 DON-QUICHOTTE Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot, QC J7V 7P2
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning
Type of crops: Bell peppers, Cabbage, Cucumbers, Tomatoes and Vegetables
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in fruit and vegetable combination farming and be familiar with organic farming practices
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in wet/damp, dusty, and hot conditions, and capable of handling a fast-paced work environment
- The candidates should be proficient in managing repetitive tasks with precision and able to handle heavy loads, up to 9 kg (20 lbs), 13.5 kg (30 lbs), and 23 kg (50 lbs) as part of their job responsibilities
- The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks that require manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks as required

- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication with colleagues and clients, displaying flexibility in adapting to changing work demands

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean crops, grade, and hand harvest vegetables
- The candidates should be able to hoe crops, clean work areas, and sort and pack fruits and vegetables
