Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have successful completion of the Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

  • The candidates should have successful completion of the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) and Wealth Management Essentials Course (WME) to support AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) licensing and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC)
  • The candidates should have current accreditation and good standing in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC)/Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC), meeting eligibility requirements for MFDA licensing and Current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing
  • The candidates should have completed CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course – Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790)
  • The candidates should have skills related to Customer Engagement, Goal Planning, Investments, Personal Investments, Retirement Planning Services, and Wealth Management

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to deliver on CIBC’s Imperial Service approach, acting as a single point of contact for clients and helping them plan for today’s needs and tomorrow’s goals
  • The candidates should be able to make lasting connections and provide the right financial advice, enabling clients to secure their futures, own their homes, and build their businesses and focus on each client experience and connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful
  • The candidates should be able to deliver trusted investment advice and provide comprehensive financial planning support to enhance existing relationships and cultivate their network to establish new client relationships
  • The candidates should be able to deeply understand their local market and potential client base to create a sales plan that converts leads into new CIBC clients
  • The candidates should be able to use their strong relationship-building and networking skills to build connections, generate opportunities, and deliver bottom-line results
