Shifts: Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in environments characterized by noise, demonstrating the ability to focus and perform tasks effectively
• The candidates should be able to work in areas with odors, showcasing adaptability to various workplace conditions
• The candidates should be comfortable working in dusty environments, demonstrating resilience to such conditions
• The candidates should be adaptable to wet or damp conditions, showcasing flexibility in different working environments

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have experience in handling repetitive tasks, emphasizing precision and attention to detail in task execution
• The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, demonstrating physical strength and the ability to lift and carry objects of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• The candidates should be physically capable of meeting the demands of a physically demanding job, demonstrating stamina and endurance
• The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods, showcasing physical endurance and resilience

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to unload fish and shellfish from fishing vessels and transport them by hand or forklift truck to the work area
• The candidates should be able to transport fish and shellfish to the work area
• The candidates should be able to condition fish fillets for wrapping or freezing
• The candidates should be able to weigh fish or shellfish, record weight, and pack fish in ice
• The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
• The candidates should be able to measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
• The candidates should be able to sort fish according to species, weight, and destination
