Salary: $28.39 hourly for 32 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Wheatley, ON

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, should be able to stand for extended periods, should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel
  • The candidate should be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs), should be able to handle weight up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare nets, lines and other fishing tackle
  • The candidates should be able to clean, sort and pack fish in ice and stow catch in hold
  • The candidates should be able to repair nets, splice ropes and maintain fishing gear and other deck equipment
  • The candidates should be able to clean deck surfaces and fish hold
  • The candidates should be able to ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • The candidates should be able to handle mooring lines, and splice and repair ropes, wire cables and cordage
