Salary: $19.50 to $27.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 25 to 50 hours per week

Location: 9401 Trans-Canada Hwy, Chemainus, BC V0R 1K4, Canada
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, own vehicle, vehicle supplied by employer, willing to travel regularly, valid driver’s licence, travel expenses paid by employer, public transportation is not available
Work setting: Urban area, remote location, various locations, rural area, construction site
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Student status: Full-time enrollment
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and cellular phone
Security and safety: Criminal record check and driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and able to work in noisy environments
- The candidates should be prepared to handle potentially dangerous tasks with safety protocols and able to work in dusty environments, taking necessary precautions
- The candidates should be capable of working in cold/refrigerated environments and able to work in hot environments, managing heat-related challenges effectively
- The candidates should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing tasks efficiently under pressure, and be physically capable of handling demanding tasks
- The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks as part of their duties and demonstrate attention to detail in their work
- The candidates should be willing and able to work overtime as required and be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) safely and effectively
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to direct traffic at or near construction sites
