Nolinor can be termed as the largest airline carrier offering specialized commercial charter flights in Canada. Our fleet is known to be readily configured numerous ways, we continuously meet our clients’ varying needs for transporting passengers, cargo, or both. Our company is known to offer air service to all regions of Québec and across Canada, the United States and multiple other destinations around the world, including remote regions where gravel and ice runways are the norm. Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have the knowledge of the Bilingual languages, both orally and in writing
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualification such as high school diploma or equivalent training
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience in the aviation industry is an asset and also having experience in transport logistics is an asset

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals and also deal with situations and issues proactively and persistently, seizing opportunities that arise
  • The candidate should be able to focus efforts on achieving high quality results consistent with the organization’s standards and also have the ability to concretely apply specialized theoretical knowledge in functional and efficient mechanisms
  • The candidate should have the ability to reflect and exercise logic and judgment when faced with a situation, as well as to assess problems by making the necessary analyzes using the various data and also develop, implement, evaluate and modify plans to achieve objectives while ensuring proper use of available resources
  • The candidate should be able to work in a conscientious, methodical and rigorous manner to ensure the accuracy and quality of the products and services provided and also have an orderly and methodical mind, possessing the logic and objectivity necessary to exercise sound judgment
  • The candidate should be flexible to work on atypical schedules (rotation) and also have an excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (specifically Excel)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be responsible for planning the schedules of pilots and flight attendants and also ensure efficient use of crew members within the limits of federal regulations (RACs), work rules and company policies
  • The candidate should be able to plan crews to cover scheduled and unscheduled operations, making sure to meet the requirements of regulations and internal policies and also perform daily manipulation of crew schedules due to illnesses, schedule changes, mechanical delays and unforeseen circumstances; taking into account crew qualifications, Canadian regulations (CAR) and working conditions
  • The candidate should be able to monitor the duty times and rest times of crews, in order to comply with regulatory requirements and also ensure the implementation of a crew contingency plan for irregular operations and last minute changes
  • The candidate should be in continuous communication with maintenance control, flight monitoring and flight operations to ensure a good flow of information and also be able to establish an effective long-term action plan for overall schedule management
