Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience:Â Conventional oven, Deep fryer, Electronic cash register, and Food dispensers
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and work overtime as required
- The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, complete repetitive tasks, and stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be focused on clients, should have efficient interpersonal skills, should be reliable
- The candidate should work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables, clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units, and clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- The candidates should be able to load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware, and place dishes in storage area
- The candidates should be able to replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, and scour pots and pans
- The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used, package take-out food, and portion and wrap foods
- The candidates should be able to prepare, heat and finish simple food items, serve customers at counters or buffet tables, and stock refrigerators and salad bars
- The candidates should be able to take customers’ orders, use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs, and clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- The candidates should be able to handle and store cleaning products, receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, and remove kitchen garbage and trash
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, and wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
