Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to demonstrate attention to detail, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines
• The candidates should be able to work under pressure, handle physically demanding tasks, and handle heavy loads
• The candidates should be able to work overtime when required, walk and perform tasks involving movement, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, demonstrate professionalism in customer service, and accept payment or invoices for items delivered
• The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch, sell products over established routes, and assemble, install and set-up merchandise/products
• The candidates should be able to keep a record of items received and delivered, prepare, package and restock goods, and load and unload goods
• The candidates should be able to sort packages for delivery, follow directions and read maps, and use maps and other trip planning aids
• The candidates should be able to record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems, perform administrative tasks, and pay and receive payments for goods
• The candidates should be able to provide customer service, perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, and prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
