Salary: $17.00 hourly for 30 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Cardigan, PE
Shifts: Day, Shift, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Morning
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and Safety glasses/goggles
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks with manual dexterity and stand for extended periods
- The candidates should have strong attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment while handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime when required and be prepared for physically demanding work
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure and handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills and be reliable team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate food safety/handling skills and transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials
- The candidates should be able to measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines and feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers
- The candidates should be able to remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers
- The candidates should be able to feed and unload processing machines and check products and packaging for basic quality defects
- The candidates should be able to assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties and clean machines and immediate work areas
