Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a client focus, exhibit efficient interpersonal skills, and demonstrate flexibility

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules and supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • The candidates should be able to train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
  • The candidates should be able to ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and prepare budgets and cost estimates
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and submit reports and establish work schedules

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
