Supervision: 5-10 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Area of specialization: Poultry
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to do livestock, chicken farming, layer poultry farming, turkey farming, and other poultry farming
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle large workload
- The candidates should be able to work in odours, and dusty area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be organized
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to recognize and treat certain livestock health problems, handling animals
- The candidates should be able to select livestock for sale
- The candidates should be able to maintain work records and logs
- The candidates should be able to supervise other workers
- The candidates should be able to load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry
- The candidates should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
- The candidates should be able to supervise train crew members, operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
