Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, On Call, Morning
Work setting: Urban area, Various locations, Rural area, and Construction site

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, however experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work outdoors

  • The candidates should be accurate in their work, with a high level of precision
  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing tasks and environments
  • The candidates should be reliable and able to consistently meet deadlines and commitments

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently
  • The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required
  • The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately
  • The candidates should be able to assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction tasks
  • The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under supervision
  • The candidates should be able to level earth to fine grade specifications using appropriate tools and techniques
  • The candidates should be able to clean and pile salvaged materials neatly
  • The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance work on construction equipment and tools as needed
  • The candidates should be able to clean up chemical spills and other contaminants following safety protocols
  • The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris from construction sites efficiently
  • The candidates should be able to tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction operations responsibly
