Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and Hard hat

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, handle heavy loads, manage a large workload, handle physically demanding tasks, work under tight deadlines, and work with minimal supervision

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to perform tasks accurately, exercise good judgment, show reliability, work effectively as a team player, and demonstrate punctuality

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements, prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools, measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
• The candidates should be able to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, erect walls and roof systems, fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware, schedule and coordinate work on sites, and survey building locations and levels
• The candidates should be able to estimate costs and materials and maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
