Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have excellent Customer Service skills
• The candidates should have excellent Verbal Communications skills
• The candidates should have the ability to follow set and standard procedures
• The candidates should possess a valid BC Driver’s License (Class 5 or Canadian Equivalent)
• The candidates should have a clean driver’s abstract
• The candidates should be able to occasionally lift up to 70-lbs (32-kg) unassisted
• The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding delivery environment

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on their assigned vehicle
• The candidates should be able to complete their daily delivery and pick-up schedules
• The candidates should be comfortable using road maps and other trip planning aids
• The candidates should be able to solve dispatch problems on route
• The candidates should be able to load, unload, and sort packages in their delivery vehicle
