Salary: $22.50 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 16 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time leading to full time
Location: North Vancouver, BC
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours, To be determined
Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer and Fitting
Type of materials: Cotton or synthetic, Nylon, Polyester or synthetic, Satin, Silk, Textiles and leather, and Velvet or pile fabrics
Type of product: Sewing machine
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization: Seamstress and Tailor
Equipment and machinery experience: Serger or overlock, Pressing machine, Hemmer or blindstitcher, and Stitcher
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have good manual dexterity, strong attention to detail, and good hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should have the ability to distinguish between colors and be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and excellent oral communication
- The candidates should be flexible, show initiative, and have good judgement
- The candidates should be organized, reliable, and a team player
- The candidates should be hardworking
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to fit, alter, and repair garments as required, operate sewing machines or sew by hand, and mend clothing and linens
