Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, able to work in noisy environments, and cautious and able to handle dangerous situations
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty conditions, comfortable working in cold or refrigerated environments, and able to work in hot conditions
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines
- The candidates should be physically fit to handle demanding tasks, able to meet tight deadlines, and able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should have attention to detail, possess good hand-eye coordination, and have sound discrimination abilities
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials, and read blueprints to determine work requirements
- The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and level earth to fine grade specifications
- The candidates should be able to pave and rake asphalt, clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites and direct traffic at or near construction sites
