Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Driveways, Residential, Sidewalks and curbs, Underground and tunnel work, Poured concrete, and Irrigation and drainage
Equipment and machinery experience: Bobcats, Concrete vibrators, Screeds, Power-driven floats, Reciprocating saws, Circular saws, Concrete saws, Mortar and concrete mixers, Pumpcretes, Grinding machine, Chippers, Jackhammers, Nail guns, Drills, Trampers (Jumping Jack), Small front end loaders, Compactor, Sledgehammer, and Hand tools
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves, Cellular phone, and Ear plugs
Credentials: Driver’s License (Class 3 or D), First Aid Certificate, and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in dusty conditions
- The candidates should be capable of working in confined spaces and in noisy environments
- The candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity to perform tasks that require precision and coordination
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and equipment safely and effectively
- The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs) without difficulty, ensuring safety and proper handling procedures

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling and transportation
- The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades accurately and according to specifications
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete or mortar with precision and attention to detail, ensuring quality construction
- The candidates should be able to assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, ensuring proper alignment and connection for efficient operations
- The candidates should be able to level earth to fine-grade specifications, using appropriate tools and techniques to achieve desired results
- The candidates should be able to assist in demolishing buildings safely and according to established procedures, ensuring safety and efficiency
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and ensuring a smooth workflow
