General farm worker
Bovino Farms based in Fergus, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of General farm worker. Bovino Farms is an agricutural farm. We raise our livestock in a most scientific manner. We do mechanical mulching to keep our herd away from injury. Our products are unadulterated to the extent possible. We also grow crops and vegetables in an organic way. we also have a mechanical milk processing unit. We produce cheese & butter for sale in wholesale market. Our cattle are properly vaccinated and proper hygiene is been maintained. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Shifts: Day, Evening and Morning
Supervision: Candidates should able to supervise 3-4 people
Own Tools/Equipment: Candidates should have steel-toed safety boots and gloves
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 year to less than 2 years
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to monitoring animal health
- The candidate should be able to co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
- The candidate should be able to develop work schedules and establish procedures
- The candidate should be able to ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
- The candidate should be able to maintain quality control and production records
- The candidate should be able to supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
- The candidate should be able to supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
- The candidate should be able to maintain work records and logs
- The candidate should be able to hire and train staff
- The candidate should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidate should be able to perform general farm duties
