Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be capable of working independently to accomplish tasks
• The candidates should be proficient in handling repetitive tasks efficiently
• The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to apply fertilizers, clean crops, clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas, and cut agricultural crops
• The candidates should be able to cut agricultural seed according to farm standards, divide freshly harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots, and grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to fetch a high price in the market
• The candidates should be able to clean greenhouses, hand-harvest vegetables, harvest seedlings, and mix fertilizer
• The candidates should be able to monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pack fruits and vegetables, and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
• The candidates should be able to sort fruits and vegetables, train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality, and weed
• The candidates should be able to fertilize and spray crops, harvest crops, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and examine products for quality and their readiness for the market
