Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Type of crops: Bell peppers, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, and Vegetables
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks and be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should be capable of working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be reliable and a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform greenhouse cleaning, hand-harvest vegetables, and pack fruits and vegetables
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, cut seeds, and weed
- The candidates should be able to clean the work area, harvest crops and seedlings, and examine products for quality and readiness for the market
