Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks, work under pressure, and be prepared for physically demanding work
• The candidates should be experienced in handling heavy loads, and be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• The candidates should possess strong hand-eye coordination, and be able to distinguish between colors
• The candidates should pay attention to detail, and be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, walk for extended periods, and be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
• The candidates should be willing to work overtime if required, and be able to sit as needed
• The candidates should be able to work under pressure, and be prepared for physically demanding work

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to apply fertilizers, mix fertilizer, and fertilize and spray crops
• The candidates should be able to apply the technique of hoeing between the rows, perform weeding, and clear fields of wood and stones
• The candidates should be able to clean the crops, clean the work area, and perform greenhouse cleaning
• The candidates should be able to divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots, grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume, and sort fruits and vegetables
• The candidates should be able to pack fruits and vegetables, harvest crops, and pick row and orchard crops
• The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, guide growing shoots into optimal development positions, and train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality
• The candidates should be able to hand harvest vegetables, remove manually all suckers and water sprouts, and tie and secure plants
• The candidates should be able to monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, and detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
• The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• The candidates should be able to clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens, and examine products for quality and readiness for the market
