Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure
- The candidates should be adept at efficiently handling repetitive tasks and be capable of managing and lifting heavy loads as part of their responsibilities
- The candidates should be physically fit, exhibit a high level of attention to detail, possess hand-eye coordination, and have the ability to distinguish between colors as required for the job
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean crops, perform clipping, conduct deleafing, and carry out grading.
- The candidates should be able to undertake greenhouse cleaning, hand-harvest vegetables, lower plants, and mix fertilizer
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, perform suckering, tie plants, and implement a vertical farming system
- The candidates should be able to weed, harvest crops, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, detect diseases and health problems, examine produce for quality, and prepare for the market
- The candidates should be able to transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings, spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides, sort and pack fruits and vegetables, report signs of insect or disease damage, pot and re-pot plants, plant bulbs and seeds, mix and prepare soils, assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants, apply fertilizers, water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and clean the work area
