Salary: $19.00 hourly 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience in fruit and vegetable combination farming and be comfortable working outdoors and in/on water
  • The candidates should be able to work in wet/damp and dusty conditions, as well as in hot environments

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to shear Christmas trees, grade produce, and mix fertilizer
  • The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, weed fields, and maintain a clean work area
  • The candidates should be able to fertilize and spray crops, harvest crops, and load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry
  • The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, examine produce for quality, prepare it for the market, and set and monitor water lines, airflow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
