Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be experienced in various aspects of crop farming
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, capable of handling repetitive tasks, and work effectively under pressure
- The candidates should be adept at handling heavy loads, physically fit for demanding tasks, and have good hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should possess the ability to distinguish between colors, have attention to detail, and be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as adjusting to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to apply the technique of hoeing between rows and clean the crops
- The candidates should be able to grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to fetch a high price in the market, as well as plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to perform weeding and harvest crops
