Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, and manage physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to fetch high prices in the market
- The candidates should be able to hand-harvest vegetables, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and perform weeding
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops and load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties and ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
