Salary: $17.20 hourly for 40 to 45 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Kinghorn, ON & Bradford, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Early Morning, 07:00 to 17:00
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Type of crops: Carrots and Onions
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Automated systems experience: Automated irrigation system
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work independently, handle a fast-paced environment, and perform repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure, manage physically demanding work, and demonstrate hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, perform bending, crouching, and kneeling, and walk
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be flexible, have good judgment, and be reliable
- The candidates should be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clear fields of wood and stones, plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, and perform weeding
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops
