Salary: $17.20 hourly for 40 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Kingsville, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Type of crops: Tomatoes, vegetables, and greenhouse vegetables
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle repetitive tasks, and handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding work, demonstrate hand-eye coordination, and demonstrate attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be reliable and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean the crops, perform greenhouse cleaning, and harvest seedlings
- The candidates should be able to remove manually all suckers and water sprouts, and cut horticultural crops
