Salary: $17.20 hourly for 30 to 50 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning
Type of crops: Ginseng, Soybeans, Tobacco
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Automated systems experience: Automated irrigation system
Equipment and machinery experience:Â Farm truck, Forklift, Loader, Tractor, Tillage equipment and Hand tools
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work independently, perform repetitive tasks, and meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, demonstrate hand-eye coordination, and distinguish between colours
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, perform bending, crouching, and kneeling, and walk
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have good judgment, be reliable, and have strong values and ethics
- The candidates should be quick learners
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to apply the technique of hoeing between the row, cut agricultural crops, and plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to remove manually all suckers and water sprouts, perform weeding, and clean the work area
- The candidates should be able to fertilize and spray crops, harvest crops, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to examine product for quality and its readiness for the market
