Salary: $18.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Maidstone, ON
Shifts: Day, Morning, 07:00 to 15:30
Transportation information: Own transportation
Work setting: Manufacturing and industrial plant

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be capable of handling repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and being physically fit for demanding tasks
• The candidates should possess manual dexterity, demonstrate attention to detail, and have good hand-eye coordination
• The candidates should be comfortable with standing for extended periods, a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and able to manage a large workload
• The candidates should be able to work under pressure and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and have excellent oral communication
• The candidates should exhibit flexibility in their approach to tasks and show initiative.

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment
• The candidates should be able to sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products, and perform other laboring and elemental activities
• The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
