Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, familiar with repetitive tasks, and capable of handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, have manual dexterity, and possess attention to detail
- The candidates should demonstrate hand-eye coordination and be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be adept at a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize punctuality and exhibit dependability
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, show initiative, and be reliable
- The candidates should function effectively as team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment efficiently
- The candidates should be able to check and weigh materials and products to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications, sorting, packing, crating, and packaging according to established procedures
- The candidates should be able to assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers to support overall productivity, performing other laboring and elemental activities necessary for the smooth operation of the plant
- The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a safe and organized workspace
- The candidates should be able to operate sandblasting equipment to cut inscriptions or decorative designs in monumental stone, operate machines to drill holes, and grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks or slabs to specific shape or design
- The candidates should be able to operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone, cut materials using power tools or by hand with precision
- The candidates should check the final assembly for finish, labeling, and packaging methods and transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials efficiently throughout the plant
