Position: General labourer – manufacturing
No of Vacancies: 1
Salary: $35,000 to $55,000 annually (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Markham, ON
Shifts: Day, 08:00 to 17:00
Transportation information: Own transportation and Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Furniture and fixtures manufacturing company, Warehouse, Manufacturing and industrial plant, Plastics manufacturing, Manufacturing or production, and Assembly.
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Acrylic plexiglass
Security and safety: Bondable
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty and noisy environments
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be prepared for repetitive tasks
- The candidates should have manual dexterity, demonstrate attention to detail, and possess hand-eye coordination skills
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and be capable of handling weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate punctuality and exhibit dependability
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and demonstrate excellent oral communication
- The candidates should display flexibility, show initiative, be reliable, and be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sort, pack, crate, package materials and products, and pack goods to be shipped
- The candidates should be able to assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers, clean machines and immediate work areas, and pack items for shipping and distribution
- The candidates should be able to screw, clip, glue, bond, weld, or otherwise assemble parts and components to form final products
