Salary: $16.50 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 10 Akerley Blvd Dartmouth, NS B3B 1J4
Shifts: Day, 08:00 to 17:00
Work setting: Clothing/textile manufacturing company, packaging company, printing shop, and warehouse

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Economic specialization: Retail business

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks efficiently, possess manual dexterity, and demonstrate attention to detail
The candidates should have good hand-eye coordination and be comfortable standing for extended periods, as well as with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
The candidates should be able to manage a large workload and work effectively under pressure, as well as handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to check and weigh materials and products accurately and sort, pack, crate, and package them according to specifications
The candidates should be able to assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers as needed and perform other laboring and elemental activities assigned by supervisors
The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment and develop promotional materials to support marketing initiatives as required
